Right. Let's ignore the stuff below. I obviously tried to review all the Animorphs books and stopped again.

So.
I am currently looking for someone to play Fighting Fantasy or Lone Wolf with me. No, they're not games. Not really.
Nope, they're gamebooks.

Other stuff about me for newcomers!
I love anime, yuri, magical girls, video-gaming, JRPGs, Skyrim in particular, sci-fi and fantasy, writing and all kinds of silliness.
And I need people to discuss them with but I don't have any.

Current obsessions in my life are Suikoden, Kiniro Mosaic, Precure, One Piece, Aikatsu, and mainly old-school RPGs which I keep replaying.
I'll move onto something else in 24 hours.

For example I was playing Adventure Island earlier.
Imagine a game similar to Mario, except you play a half-naked fat man with a hammer and a skateboard.

You think I'm kidding don't you.

It's really hard though.

Stay tuned for later entries in which I lose my shit at Sonic the Hedgehog and transform into Batman at the speed of...of bat sonar? Yeah. Bat sonar. We'll keep it at that for now.

Omg someone else who knows Adventure Island.
I pretty much emulate all these games on my computer now (though I plug in my controller so I am still literally playing them!) since by the time I was born everyone was all about PS1 instead.

I've always loved the old Sonic games. Now I just have to work out whether to call him Dr Eggman of Dr Robotnik. I think the first one is more a nickname or something.

I happen to be a retro gamer! There's about a handful of old games I still remember. Yeah, Emulators and roms are good. It was how I was able to play Darius Twin on the PC once. It's one of my favorite Super Nintendo titles. The enemy ships are various sea creatures, and the music is love. I'm almost a quarter of the way done on a remix of the Boss theme, and so far it sounds really, really good. 8D As soon as it's done, I'm so uploading it and sharing it!

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 has been my most favorite out of the older ones. Yeah, the first one is a nickname I believe. So is Robuttnik!

I play more retro games because they come free and I don't have to waste money or space on tons of CDs. Not that I could, anyway, since we only have one TV (so no consoles) and my computer is Linux (which is a great system until you realise it sucks for gaming purposes).
Skyrim is the only new-ish game I have bought recently (and even then I didn't know if it would work on a non-windows system :p)

Ooh, I haven't played Darius Twin.
But SNES and PS1 games are my favourites, mainly JRPGs like the Tales series and Breath of Fire. I love them. <3

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is awesome. Still stuck getting to the second boss though. Stupid drowning.

The Darius games are 2D side scroll spaceship fighter games. :) Twin has been the only one I've ever played so far, and it's a challenging one. I've seen the newest one, Darius Burst, is on PSP, but it may be another long while before I get that last generation handheld!

lol, Chemical Plant Zone is a tough one. Love, love, love the music from that level. I've heard some great remixes of that, including an Acapella version of it. I'm really, really going to have to think how I'll do differently with that one.

Oohoo, I'm not the greatest at shooters but I do love them regardless. (Probably a bad idea of me to play virtually every Touhou game, which are ridiculously hard shooters)
The ones i have played are mainly Gradius and Gradius III? And I played Abadox on the NES more for the design than anything else. :p Oh, and Parodius which is just...so random. :p

YES I LOVE THAT MUSIC. Most of the Genesis music for Sonic is really awesome and catchy but Chemical Plant Zone has some great music there.

Another great track from Sonic 2 would be Metrpolis Zone! That's my other most favorite VGM from it, and I have this idea for an Industrial type of remix with that one--with drill sounds and stuff like that. :D
